Long Hair unshaven hair transplantation is a technique in which the donor region does not have to be shaved.  Normally, even if transplantation was done unshaven, the area where grafts would be collected would be shaved at a certain rate. In this method, hair roots will be collected without a shaving involved.

The newly implanted hair will fall out during the first month but grows again within 2-3 months. The biggest advantage of this method is that the transplant result is taken immediately after the operation.

The patient gets a chance to see his or her appearance immediately after hair is implanted. Therefore, the hair transplantation operation is almost never noticed.

The main drawback is that it cannot be done to every patient. The shape and structure of the hair can not be decided that it can be done without examination.
