What is PRP?

WHAT IS PRP?

PRP can be defined as the person's own natural plasma fluid, which contains platelets more than the possible value.

In the PRP method, a small amount (as much as a tube) of blood is taken from the person's own body. The plasma of the collected blood is then separated and injected into the body by a special process in the laboratory.

The resulting plasma is very rich in cells called "platelet". The main benefit of platelets in the body is to coagulate the blood.

Because the blood serum used during the PRP process is pure and one hundred percent of the person's own blood, no allergic reaction will develop. At the same time, it is not possible for an immune reaction to occur.

These plasmas that are separated are injected into the areas where the weak hair follicles are needed. These injected vitamins called "platelet", do not cause any allergic reactions because they are found in your own blood.

How is Hair Treatment done with PRP?

The PRP method is applied with the principle of tissue regeneration in hair treatment. The goal is to help strengthen the weakened hair follicles by reducing hair loss.

The loss of 100-150 hairs per day is considered normal. If there is hair loss in excess of this number, it should be taken seriously and precautions should be taken in consultation with the expert.

Although there are different problems in hair such as dandruff, hair loss and oily hair, these are seen most commonly. One of the most effective methods of removing these negativities is the application of PRP hair treatment.

This is where the application we call PRP comes into play and provides satisfactory results for the eyes in hair treatments. During the PRP process, the patient's own blood is taken and the part that will feed the roots, called fibroblasts,

is separated and injected into the area that hair loss has occured.

If the application of PRP is applied in hair loss, it has been observed that it will give effective results especially in genetic hair loss. Hair treatments with PRP method usually take 3-4 months. During this period, it is applied in 15-day periods with 30-minute sessions.

For this reason, grafts must collected in a chilled area and they must be kept in a special solution.

PRP is added to the solutions where the hair follicles are kept. In the same way hair roots are washed directly with PRP solution. This is very useful and allows the effects to occur more quickly. The goal of doing these things is to keep the hair follicles alive. it's an increase in duration. It is also beneficial to accelerate wound healing after transplantation and to trigger the grafts implanted to produce hair.
